Move and feel better

T3 Approach

What I Do & How I Do It

The sole objective of the ‘T3’ approach of testing, treating, and training human movement is to eliminate pain, optimize physical performance, and ultimately acheive movement longevity…a pre-requisite for quality of life. Everyone moves differently and has varying levels of capacity for movement. There is no other way to acheive success other than assessing individual movement patterns, identifying underlying dysfunctions, and understanding the perpetual interplay between treatment, training, and lifestyle.

Test

‘Testing’ involves physical examination and movement screening using clinical and technological methods to establish a ‘movement diagnosis’

Treat

‘Training’ consists of optimal movement repetitions tailored toward the demands unique to each individual; otherwise known as therapeutic and conditioning exercises

Train

‘Treating entails skilled manual therapy and movement re-education.

My Story

I’m originally from Hawaii but raised in southern and eastern Africa with a short time in Scotland.  Santa Barbara, California has been home for the past 25 years.  My inter-cultural upbringing exposed me to the diversities and similarities of the human condition.  I learned at an early age that human movement was a universal language because it was a universal pre-requisite for living and performing well.

My career has been an entrepreneurial inquiry into physical rehabilitation and human performance.  I work with a diverse group of clients from high-performing professionals and athletes, entertainers and executives, and what I call ‘age-defiers’...the ones ‘undefined’ by age!  They all share one single objective which is to achieve high-performing bodies for high-performing lives.
